Present and Past best-dressed at the Oscars

I have to warn you that I am a bit partial for the best past dressed at the Oscars, on the other hand I only chose the dresses I really liked at the 2014 Oscars, well maybe I have a bit of a problem in the impartiality domain

The Adademy Awards Presenters and Honorees Green Room

For the year 2012 Waldo Fernandez is the Creator of the Oscar Greenroom, the backstage ”relaxing” room for Presenters and Honorees.. like it is possible to relax in such circumstances, but I have to admit that Fernandez’s Greenroom is quite serene and comfortable…

The greeting Oscar before entering the room, it already puts you in the mood…

I personally would have preferred softer white furniture with the gray and fawn color palette….but this is my humble opinion….but I suppose Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz would look great sitting on these white armchairs….

Of course there is a 1930 feeling in the room, the Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann style armchairs and the shagreen and lacquer stools and a Beni Ourain rug, I have always a weakness for these Moroccan rugs, I grew up with them, my mother used them in our summer home….they bring a warm and cosy ambiance in a room…

A Ruhlmann Style fawn color dining table, I like the mixture of gray, taupe and fawn…

A lovely comfortingly well designed room by Waldo Fernandez…
